It is possible to draw cash from the ATMs in town with your SA VISA or MAESTRO bank cards.
There are three markets in town. The main one has recently been revamped and is beautiful and quite an experience. The two smaller markets are more for the local shoppers, with mainly just the daily necessities for sale.
The shops sell almost anything you could possibly need. But dairy products and other luxuries are expensive.

Rands are accepted almost everywhere, excluding the R200 note.
Dollars are also accepted in many places, except for the 10 Dollar note because of too many fake notes on the market.
